• Transformational Impact Partners (TIP) is a Woman of Color Owned and Led LLC focused on creating transformational impact in education through powerful partnerships with communities, parents, family members and caregivers most impacted by the education crisis in our nation.
• TIP believes that every child deserves a world-class education, and that is yet to be delivered for every child in our nation.
• TIP believes that those most impacted by the education crisis should have a seat at the table bringing their voice, experience, brilliance, talents and assets to inspire, design, create, and innovate in education in order to ensure our children are receiving the highest quality education.
• TIP desires to flip the status quo of “education reform” to place those closest to the crisis front and center to the solutions. Today, who decides what communities need? Who designs the strategy, projects and pilots that are implemented in communities? Who receives the jobs to implement these strategies? Who evaluates the effectiveness of the strategy, project and/or pilot implemented? You likely didn’t answer the community of which the strategy, pilot and/or project was intended to benefit. Our goal is to make the impacted community the answer to all those questions.
• Our approach to community engagement is to identify community talent that is passionate about creating ground-breaking change for children, cultivate that talent so that they have the opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills and network to innovate and generate transformational change, and then get out of the way and provide them with the space to do their best work.
